Alexandra Gemma Tebano

I am Alexandra Tebano, born and raised in Schenectady, New York, to Southern Italian immigrants. My passion for storytelling and creativity has taken me to impressive heights, with appearances on networks like Lifetime, HBO, Showtime, and Oxygen.

As a producer, my films have gained recognition at esteemed festivals including SXSW, USA Film Festival, and AFI Film Festival. My work has also been featured on Showtime, HBO, and CNN.

One of my recent successes is the internationally acclaimed short film "Tamar Rising," with multiple nominations, including Best Director at the Nice International Film Festival and London International Film Festival. The film also earned Best Original Screenplay and Best Actress awards at festivals like Madrid International Film Festival and Southern Europe International Film Festival.

I graduated from NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study, focusing on the Art of Performance Through a Philosophical and Anthropological Lens. My interdisciplinary degree combined diverse disciplines, exploring how different philosophies, religions, business practices, and social norms influence performance.

Passionate about diversity and celebrating beauty and intellect, I helped create NYU Embodied Magazine, showcasing global beauty, culture, and intelligence.

With a background in producing captivating events, I have worked on notable projects such as producing video content for Summit Tulum, Carbone Formula 1 Pop-Up 2022 and 2023, Parsons Benefit Gala, and GroupBlack Brand Week Hip-Hop Lounge. Currently residing between Miami Beach and Brooklyn, I continue to create compelling films and branded content.

My upcoming projects include two new horror feature film scripts, a new podcast about incarcerated female inmates, and a documentary “Super 8 Motel” all about the migrant crisis in New York State.

With my diverse background and dedication, I aim to inspire audiences, fostering a deeper understanding of the human experience and the power of narrative.
